a man they suspected of killing someone at hell's angels funeral early this month. swat team members surrounded a house in stockton holding to find this man, steve ruiz. the area was locked down for several hours. police have not said why ruiz was not at home. the occupy protesters say that they are staying, they are demonstrating against what they call corporate greed. that is despite a warning that they could be removed by police. da lin spoke with police about the ultimatum and the response from demonstrators. >>da: many protesters worry that their days camped in front of city hall are numbered. the question now is, what now? >> there is some fear of aggression. >>da: oakland officials remained tight-lipped. they

>>marty: in eastern turkey a strong earthquake hit overnight. there are records of at least 75 deaths, 45 in one city alone. 150 injuries and widespread destruction. as many as 80 buildings have collapsed. survivors are digging through the rubble with bare hands. the

earthquake was centered in this city close to the irani and border. the death toll could be as high as 1000 according to officials. that is due in part to low housing standards. several aftershocks as strong as magnitude 5.5 called today's earthquake. >>marty: figure for watching.
